Youth Program

Getting kids on the water.

The youth program was founded with one goal: to provide Phoenix youth with the opportunity to learn the sport of sailing, regardless of any obstacles they may encounter.

The youth program invites children of ages 8-13 to Lake Pleasant to learn to sail for free. Roughly monthly, children are provided with transportation to the lake and taught by our incredible team of volunteers pictured above.

Catalina Capri 14.2

  • A Capri 14.2 was donated with the sole purpose of youth sailing

  • This boat can fit up to 6 small children

  • It is perfect for learning the basics of sailing before steering alone

  • Capri 14.2s are stable and comfortable

Sailing is an expensive sport. The Arizona Sailing Club is teaching it for free. Please support us on our mission!
